📢 BUS FARE ADJUSTMENT EFFECTIVE 26 MAY 2026

Classic Buses wishes to advise all travelling passengers and members of the public that a 22.5% bus fare adjustment will officially come into effect from 26 May 2026.

✅ GOOD NEWS FOR COMMUTERS:
Passengers will CONTINUE paying the CURRENT bus fares as normal.

💙 The Government of Fiji will cover the increased portion through a subsidy assistance program to support public transport operators and ensure fares remain affordable for the travelling public.

⚠️ THERE IS NO NEED FOR CONCERN OR CONFUSION
✔️ No extra payment required from passengers
✔️ Existing fares remain unchanged at this stage
✔️ Public transport services will continue as normal

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Accounts Officer to join our team.

📌 Position: Accounts Officer (Payable & Receivable)

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Handle Accounts Payable – invoice processing, supplier reconciliations & payments
• Manage Accounts Receivable – billing, collections & customer accounts
• Perform general accounting tasks including bank reconciliations and reporting
• Assist with VAT/tax calculations and compliance
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

🔹 Requirements:

✔ Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance (MANDATORY)
✔ No Minimum experience required
✔ Strong knowledge of accounting principles
✔ Good skills in MS Excel & accounting software
✔ Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
