CASTLES OF GREDOS RIDE-DAY 5. What an amazing day today!! 😍 A magnificent mountain riding through 3 different valleys. In the morning we rido up the mountain to the highest place of the ride, Puerto de Chía (1,900 m), with a magnificent view of the Corneja river valley in the back and the Alberche river valley in the front. Tapas break at San Martin de la Vega with the views of the Gredos Mountains, after, we crossed the Alberche river and continue to Tormes River valley for delicious lu ch to get our stables after a short afternoon of riding! THANK YOU VERY MUCH EVERYONE FOR COMING! IT WAS PLEASURE MEETING YOU ALL!! EMILIO &MAMEN 💕

Francia” the whole area has a great scenic and ecological value with a great cultural wealth and an important historical-artistic heritage. There are five municipalities in the area declared “Historic-Artistic Complex” as Miranda del Castañar and La Alberca, also being designated a biosphere reserve! What a day 😍

NEW! SIERRA DE LAS BATUECAS RIDE! DAY 3!!
Today offered a comfortable, relaxing ride with fewer hours on horseback (4-5). The morning route passed through open, flat meadows lined with stone walls and cattle, offering great opportunitie for canter. After riding past chestnut and old ash trees, we reached the medieval bridge over the Sangusín River for a lovely picnic and siesta in pleasant surroundings.In the afternoon, we crossed the bridge into Horcajo de Montemayor and rode uphill through an oak grove with chestnut and ash trees, enjoying beautiful views of the Batuecas mountains to end day! Looking forward to tomorrow!

NEW! SIERRA DE LAS BATUECAS RIDE!! DAY 2
Spectacular day!! Following along the Cañada Real with a combination of mountains views in the distance and meadows lined by stone walls all around, quite flat the first part of the morning where we could enjoy some fun canters along the way, until delicious tapas break, and then up to a beautiful forest of oaks and holm oaks in Sierra de Tonda. Lunch break in the countryside followed by siesta and back in the saddle for another couple of hours to complete the day!!
