Stål & Form is characterised by enthusiasts who love to create beautiful results. The recipe is actually very simple: The clients give their exclusive wishes, which Stål & Form then realises, produces, and supplies. But the process from beginning to end is often combined with complexity and calls for great knowledge of both materials and production techniques – and not least the extensive needs of the clients. This particular knowledge and experience has Stål & Form gained in the workshop in Odder. It is in this place that the pieces – via a combination of effective machinery and solid handicraft – undergo a true transformation and end up as beautiful componants with impressive forms and character. Quite simple, this is what Stål & Form does. In both Denmark and abroad Stål & Form is known for supplying unique solutions to its clientele of architects, designers, and other feinschmeckers.

Fresh from our CNC lathe ⚙️
From a single prototype to a production run — these clips show some of the parts we machine here at Stål & Form.
On a CNC lathe, the material rotates while cutting tools shape it with precision. Straight and tapered profiles, holes, grooves and threads — all brought together to create parts that fit and function as intended.
We produce one-off parts, prototypes and small to medium-sized series in:

20 years in the superyacht industry ⚓
In 2006, Stål & Form took its first steps into the superyacht industry through our collaboration with designer Glyn Peter Machin (GPM).
What started as a completely new challenge has since become an important part of who we are. Today, superyacht projects represent around 50% of our production.
Along the way, we have worked on everything from selected metal components for the iconic 82m ALFA NERO to highly complex parts for exterior furniture – together with Glyn Peter Machin, Octoport, Siebensee and many other great customers and partners.
These projects have challenged us, developed our craftsmanship and pushed us to continuously improve our production methods and capabilities.
Today, we carry out the complete metalworking process in-house in Denmark – from engineering and prototyping to CNC machining, tube bending, welding, grinding, mirror polishing, assembly and final quality control.
And 20 years later, the journey continues. New components manufactured by Stål & Form will once again be represented at Monaco Yacht Show 2026.
Most importantly, a huge thank you to our entire Stål & Form team – past and present. Your craftsmanship, creativity, commitment and hard work are the reason we have come this far.
And thank you to all our customers, designers, partners and suppliers who have been part of the journey – with a very special thank you to Glyn Peter Machin (GPM), whose collaboration opened the door to the superyacht industry for Stål & Form back in 2006.

DYGTIGE FAGFOLK KOMMER IKKE AF SIG SELV!
Vi er stolte af at se vores lærling Christian med i denne artikel fra NTI om Autodesk Fusion på Aarhus Tech.
Christian er i lære som industritekniker hos Stål & Form, hvor han arbejder med CNC-bearbejdning og bl.a. 5-akset fræsning.
For os er det vigtigt, at vores lærlinge ikke kun lærer at betjene maskinerne, men også får en stærk forståelse for hele processen – fra CAD/CAM og programmering til simulering og det færdige emne.
Det er fedt at se Christian tage den erfaring med ind på skoleforløbet – og samtidig være med til at vise, hvordan nye digitale værktøjer bliver en stadig større del af industriteknikerfaget.
Dygtige fagfolk kommer ikke af sig selv. De skal uddannes, udfordres og have lov til at arbejde med moderne teknologi i praksis.
Godt gået, Christian 👏
