GREAT THINGS COME IN LITTLE PACKAGES 🎁😊

When I first opened my gallery, I wasn’t planning to make gifts at all… I was focused on my exhibition pieces - my “Bornholm In All Four Seasons” collection and the work inspired by Oluf Høst that first brought me to the island.

But visitors kept asking the same question:

“Do you have something small I can take home?”

So I set myself a challenge… Could I create gifts that still felt like art? Could I capture that Bornholm magic so that people could take a little bit of it home with them?

Today you’ll find a colourful collection of calendars, mugs, magnets and notebooks alongside my PhotoArt exhibits and Fine Art Prints - each one created using my own Bornholm images and inspired by my love of colour and storytelling.

And yes… there’s a new arrival coming tomorrow too! 😊💗

Destination Bornholm

An exploration of Bornholm through colour.

Since moving to the island, I’ve found myself collecting magic moments - not just places, but colours.

A sky, a field, a tiny detail in nature… something catches my eye and I feel I just have to capture it.

This has become my ongoing “Redefining Colour” process - building a colour palette of Bornholm, one moment at a time.

🌻 Sunflower Field - August 2025
A perfect late summer evening near Østersømarken. Fields of sunflowers glowing in the low yellow sun, their dark faces haloed in light - a moment of pure delight.

🔴 Red Sunset - July 2025
A spontaneous climb up to the cliffs above Hammer Havn after a midsummer BBQ… rewarded with a sky streaked in crimson and scarlet. One of those evenings that reminds me why I collect sunsets.

🐸 Green Frog - August 2025
A small, unexpected encounter on Christiansø - a flash of bright green, a yellow eye, the excitement of discovery. Another magical nature moment.

Each one noticed, captured and kept - building my “Colours of Bornholm” palette.

Getting Christmassy at Bornholm’s Airport yesterday, as I headed to England for the holidays.

With my Art Gallery now closed for winter, I’ve been bringing my PhotoArt stories together visually - particularly on Instagram.
