Ruin Nation Records

As the algorithms play a trick on me again as expected, here’s a picture of Lemmy watching telly with me last night. - DON‘T FORGET TO SWIPE LEFT! 😘

For the last two weeks I had to botch together the 2025 accounting and tax statements which was a bit of a pain. Ruin Nation is (still) registered as a business so this stuff is unfortunately mandatory. I usually manage to pay as little tax as possible but since i didn’t produce anything last year apart from the AFK 7“ there’s just a big pile of VAT Tax on my side that i have to stuff into the tax systems throat. I have to cough up approx 1300 EUR within the next two weeks to pay the tax office.

Not cool ... so, this means another sale is in effect. LOADS of 1, 2, 3 EUR 7“s and 5, 10 EUR LPs ... and 3, 5 EUR CDs plus some other stuff I found flying around in the old Warehouse. In fact some of the stuff is flying around there for ages and comes with a very authentical crusty basement smell to it but come on! It’s cheap! And crucial CRUST AF, innit?

Check the LINK in BIO... - also, got copies of the new TOTALITÄR just in.

Tonight!!!

Tonight !!

Today in just one week I finally have a couple days off to join my old friend Stachel Stachel and a handful Bremen rogues for this weekend trip to Sweden’s Falafel City number one: Malmö to see the mighty TOTALITÄR and INFERNÖH as well as a crazy amount of supporting legends from sweden’s DIY punk scene from several decades ago...Hope i see many old timers and new timers and have many b**rs together.

I’ve seen and put on COUNTERBLAST, and avskum.band a couple of times but this feels like it’s been ages ago. Same for HÅRDA TIDER. All four played the FRIESE at least once but thats quite a long time ago. And so many more great bands... it’s crazy. - It’s also been one year since i have a bit of time to travel with all that heavy weight in my life so i literally can’t wait to hit the road!

Hope I see some of you soon and raise some glasses for the late Marcus Andersson 🖤
Skål och kram!

La Zone en danger ‼️

Double trouble this weekend! Buy us a b**r in (Cha)osnabrück! 🍻❤️‍🔥🍻

See u there!

BELLRINGER „The Field“ is easily one of my most played albums from 2025 and 2026 and far from the typical punk, crust, electric noise genre you would expect. BELLRINGER is Summer Newman from HOLY LOCUST along with support from friends all hailing from New Orleans (The Oogle capital of the world) and playing a wonderful fusion of country, folk, bluegrass and punk. This album became some sort of „feel good on a sh*tty day“ meme for me and i still listen to it frequently (speaks volume about my daily life, i know) ... if i only had the money i would release this on vinyl within a heartbeat but i understand this sort of music might not be for the typical Ruin Nation clientele.

Irish folk and North American country music was the earliest musical reference i grew up with due to my dads massive fondness for this genre. Later when the Pogues popped up it was like a revelation... fusing Punk and Folk. BELLRINGER are in a way in the same sector. You get seven songs of folky PUNK infused traditional country music that made my crusty little heart spin like crazy. Seven tracks to listen to with a spliff, a b**r, or whatnot, when you come home from a sh*t week at work and just wanna drift off and feel a tick melancholic.

If you like HOLY LOCUST, BLACKBIRD RAUM, PALE ROBIN, LANKUM and MISCHIEF BREW (minus the electric guitars) this is definitely for you.

I got a handful of copies on CD and audio cassettes and I can just strongly recommend them! They are a tenner plus postage. Less if you live outside the EU of course.

A new album is in the works and i literally can’t wait.

Hi there - i’ve been neglecting this Instagrimm and Facefarce for quite awhile due to job, family repair duties as well as the occasional lazy afternoon and b**r filled visit in Bremens best punk-rock Beerkeller. I try to pick up from now.
There’s plenty of new records in stock. Ok, maybe that THAT new anymore but new from us! You know what to do! Cheers!
And as always thanks to Mirek Phobia , F.O.A.D. Records Scream Records and everyone else! Luve!
