For many flights, flexibility on the ground can matter just as much as performance in the air.

Jonathan R. Trappe's unusual cluster balloon flight from Albuquerque into Arizona was a great example. After landing, the basket could be packed down and transported back without needing a trailer.

This flight was unusual, but the logistical advantage of a collapsible basket can make a real difference on many flights.

Kubicek FlyMate just got a major update. 📱🎈

The new version brings a refreshed design, new Community Groups, plus a built-in 2026 Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta PZ map.

You can now create or join groups, share your flight with multiple groups, follow shared tracks on the map and manage everything in one place.

It was great to spend the event together with our local Kubicek dealer, Dan Chiriac.

Our ORIGO demo took to the skies, and we also had the chance to present Kubicek products and services to the local ballooning community.
