A missed legal detail. A poorly drafted agreement. A conflict of interest. A misunderstood agency relationship. A representation that creates liability.
In Cyprus’ real estate market, understanding the legal side of the transaction is not an advantage. It is part of doing the job properly.
The Certificate in Real Estate Law is a practical 14-hour programme designed for professionals who work with property transactions and need to understand the legal framework behind them.
You’ll explore:
• Real estate agency and licensing requirements
• Agency relationships, fiduciary duties and conflicts of interest
• Leasing, statutory tenancies and practical due diligence
• Listing contracts and acting for sellers
• Buyer representation and negotiating purchases
• Contracts of sale, termination and assignment
• Buying property through auction
• The liabilities and risks that real estate professionals need to understand
The course uses case studies, practical exercises, real-world scenarios and interactive discussion to help participants apply the law to situations they are likely to encounter in practice.
Designed for lawyers, legal professionals, real estate agents and assistant real estate agents, this is training focused on what happens when the theory meets an actual transaction.

He has worked with global practice leaders to drive international business development across major practices, including the Antitrust, Competition & Trade Group, spanning 225 lawyers across 35 countries, and later the Corporate/M&A and Private Equity Groups, spanning 1,200 lawyers across 47 countries.
Today, as Director of Hansigo, Hansi works with law firms ranging from solo practitioners to international practices, helping them turn business development strategy into implementation.
Now, he brings that experience to an intensive programme designed for law firm leaders, partners and business development professionals.
The programme combines:
• 14 hours of expert-led training
• Practical business development strategies used by leading international firms
• Interactive learning and immediately applicable approaches
• 4 hours of private strategy work dedicated exclusively to your firm
