The wait is almost over!

This week, 130 judokas with intellectual disabilities will compete in Sarajevo at the Special Olympics Judo Open 2026.

The event will be hosted alongside the IJF - International Judo Federation Veterans and Kata World Championship, granting our judokas a spotlight within an IJF world-level framework for the very first time!

Our heartfelt thanks to the team at Special Olympics Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Judo Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for their hard work in securing such a valuable opportunity for judokas of all levels of ability.
