La mission de Karin Handlbauer, directrice et propriétaire de la galerie Mezzanin, est de proposer le travail d'artistes internationaux émergents, mis en situation avec des artistes de référence et largement reconnus. Après avoir dirigé un espace alternatif à but non lucratif, elle ouvre Mezzanin en 2002 à Vienne en Autriche, puis un deuxième espace à Genève en septembre 2014.

Galerie Mezzanin and our team are greatly saddened by the news of Elfie Semotan's passing, this Saturday 6th of June 2026, at the age of 84.
She will be missed.
