Inclusion NWT
We provide lifelong support
for individuals with intellectual disabilities
and their families in the NWT.
Inclusion NWT services:
The Odd Job Squad
This program seeks to assist under-employed individuals who self-identify with a disability to derive a small income from one-time or short-term work while they search for permanent employment. Our staff look to connect with employers and households that may offer casual or temporary employment at or above $16/hour. The Odd Job Squad is also perfect for mowing grass, raking and other yard work, snow shoveling, delivering small furniture, stacking wood, alphabetizing, hauling gravel, gardening, providing construction assistance, dump runs and much more!

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
Today at Inclusion NWT we pause to honour the survivors of residential schools, the children who did not return home and the families and communities whose lives continue to be affected by this history.
As we pause to observe this day, we stand acknowledging that truth and reconciliation is not confined to one day. The work continues daily in how we carry the truth forward, honour the strengths of Survivors and their communities, and most importantly turning remembrance into meaningful action.
Every day, let us build relationships grounded in respect, justice and lasting change.
We orange and remember: Every Child Matters.
