Even though I'm an insurance agent who advocates for prevention, caution, and vigilance, I have to admit that I haven't always led by example! 😅

When I was a student, I noticed water stains in the ceiling in my basement bedroom and convinced myself it was nothing to worry about. Well, spoiler alert, it wasn't nothing! 🤦

As a result, water had been dripping onto the ceiling causing quite a bit of damage which forced me to move out for a few months while it was being repaired.💸💸💸

That experience taught me the hard way that water damage can be sneaky and shouldn't be taken lightly. It spreads fast and doesn't give you much of a warning... until it's too late!
