One more ✔️ off the summer bucket lists! Some of us went to a Roughrider game and had a great time cheering them on. What a fun experience! And…. The weather was so nice!

🥞 Who can say no to a second breakfast?! 😋

We enjoyed a delicious pancake breakfast hosted by Saskatoon Co-op on Friday morning! 🥞☕ There were lots of smiles, full bellies, and a wonderful opportunity to get out and enjoy time together! 😊

A big THANK YOU to Jordan, the manager at Watrous Co-op, for the warm welcome and wonderful visit with our participants! 💙 We truly appreciate our local businesses and the meaningful connections they make with our participants. 🤝

Our team is growing again - maybe you’re the right candidate or you know someone who is!

We did it again - way to go Saskatchewan! Thanks to everyone in our province for all of the support.

THANK YOU, SASKATCHEWAN!!

The final numbers from Light It Up! For NDEAM are in, and we had the highest number of participating locations ACROSS CANADA for the second year in a row!

258 locations in 30 communities lit up and made Saskatchewan shine the brightest in the country last night!

💜 Light It Up! for NDEAM – October 15, 2026 💜

The Town of Watrous is proud to participate in the “Light It Up! for NDEAM” campaign on October 15, 2026!

NDEAM stands for National Disability Employment Awareness Month, an annual campaign held every October to celebrate the contributions of workers experiencing disabilities and promote inclusive, accessible, and barrier-free employment practices.

💜 Tonight, our office entrance will glow purple to show our support for an inclusive workforce and to recognize the valuable contributions that people experiencing disabilities make in our workplaces and communities.

Together, we can help build a community where everyone has the opportunity to contribute, succeed, and thrive!

TODAY IS THE DAY!! Please register here if you will be Lighting Up! your Home or Business. Thank you for supporting National Disability Employment Awareness Month.

This Thanksgiving, we are feeling especially grateful to be part of such an amazing small-town community! 🦃🧡

Community is so much more than the place we live — it’s the people who make it feel like home. It’s the friendly waves when we’re out on our morning walks, the local businesses who continue to partner with us to create inclusive workplace opportunities, and the countless little acts of kindness that remind us we belong.

Inclusion is built through everyday moments. It happens when opportunities are created, when friendships grow, and when everyone is given the chance to be part of something bigger.

We are so fortunate to live and work in a community that continues to show us what belonging looks like. 💙
