One more little hostage was released last night. Marbles of Rose River is a lovely little silver heifer. Born to Flanny of Stow Highlands.
We were wranglers yesterday. Here’s a majestical video of noble highlands marching across our pasture! It’s fun to watch them thunder through green grass!
Thanks Willow and Maxine.
My memory isn’t that horrible!

The bulk of our calving is complete, aside from a few late calvers. We get a lot of requests for what we will have for sale come fall. Here are a few of our registered heifer calves as babies. So excited to share these pictures!
Some background on their names. Marcia and Machon are my sisters in law. Minny is the nickname for my sister Carmen when I was a couple years old.
M16 Marcia of Roseriver
M19 Machon of Roseriver
M25 Minny of Roseriver
Hooray for sisters!

Ummmm… Emily the cow didn’t have twins! But Mitt Romney the bull (Mitsy for short), on the left, doesn’t seem to care …. Cause both these calves are white, born on the same day, I don’t know who to shoo away! 30 mins later Mitsy came running up to me for a glamour shot.
