A gallery shop featuring original paintings, Island Potato Soap, Mi’kmaq art, jewelry & other crafts Geraldine loves the creative process.
Come and experience light and landscape at our new Victoria by the Sea Gallery and Shop. Original oil paintings, acrylic and watercolours of Prince Edward Island are all on display. A spark of an idea is explored in pencil sketches, followed by small studies in watercolour, oil or acrylic and finally a painting emerges on canvas. Her inspiration is the landscape. Light reflecting on fields, stormy skies rolling over bodies of water, trees and buildings marking the horizon all grab her imagination. Expressive style and colour are used to capture a moment in time.

« Hampton Hills » PEI (11x14 » oil)
I could paint the a view of the Hampton Hills from Victoria every day and each painting would be different. The light hits the fields differently and the cloud formations change hour by hour. This is a summer view with intense colours.
