This week’s Break Even Bottle is Glenfiddichwh**ky 16 Year Old Limited Edition.

Rich, mellow and silky smooth, this Speyside single malt opens with aromas of stewed fruit, marzipan and polished leather, followed by delicate floral notes. On the palate, buttery toffee sweetness meets dry oak tannins, leading to a long, lingering finish of oaky sweetness.

This week’s Break Even Bottle is The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Year Old.

Matured in sherry-seasoned oak casks, this classic single malt opens with dried fruit, candied citrus peel and oak, followed by ginger and nutmeg. On the palate, expect rich raisins and sultanas with ginger syrup, cinnamon spice and a touch of vanilla, finishing long and warming with lingering oak and ginger.

This week’s Break Even Bottle is **ky 10 Year Old, from Scotland’s smallest traditional wh**ky distillery.

Rich and full of character, it opens with dried fruit, sugared almonds, orange marmalade and chocolate on the nose. The palate brings spicy Christmas cake with a rich mouth feel distinctive of old fashioned, small copper farm stills. The finish is oaky, mellow and warming.
