🚛📦 10 THINGS I WISH I KNEW BEFORE MY FIRST OFFICE MOVE

Everyone thinks office moves are just “moving desks.” Trust me… they’re not. 😅

1️⃣ Label every cable before unplugging it.
2️⃣ Take photos of workstation setups.
3️⃣ Move important documents separately.
4️⃣ Schedule the move after business hours if possible.
5️⃣ Pack one “Day 1” box with essentials (Wi-Fi gear, chargers, tools).
6️⃣ Assign one contact person from the company to answer questions.
7️⃣ Use rolling bins instead of hundreds of cardboard boxes.
8️⃣ Protect monitors and electronics better than furniture.
9️⃣ Double-check elevator bookings and loading dock access.
🔟 Expect the move to take 20% longer than quoted.

The biggest lesson? An office move isn’t about moving furniture—it’s about minimizing downtime. Every extra hour costs the business money.

If you’re just starting a moving company, mastering office moves can separate you from everyone else. 💼🚛🇨🇦
