🎄❤️ Christmas in the Valley is about so much more than Christmas lights and holiday fun!
What started in 2021 as a fundraiser for the Events Centre and has grown into a wonderful community tradition, bringing people together and spreading a little extra Christmas cheer throughout the Valley. From free family skates and Santa, to local vendors, a lighted walking trail, newly added parade and so much more, there’s something so very special about this event. ❤️
But there’s another side to Christmas in the Valley that we want people to know about! The committee works hard behind the scenes each year, and the money raised doesn’t just help make the event bigger and better — it also gives us an opportunity to give back to our community. Whether it’s adding to our Christmas decorations or purchasing much-needed items for local facilities, we love knowing that the support we receive helps make a difference right here at home. Shown here is a new coffee urn for the Firemen's Club, new TV, tables and chairs for the Community Room for the Events Centre.
Our committee, Rowena Grigg, Karen Wagner, Deanna Wagner & Nicole DesRoche (pictured below) are already working away to bring another year of Christmas magic to life! ✨

Our area has a new craft shop!
Located beside Moth Lane Brewing you can find many locally made products from local artisans. The shop is open Wednesday to Sunday 12-7pm.

In case you missed it, the Bideford Parsonage Museum had their annual Strawberry Social this past Sunday and it was a beautiful event.
It featured live music, outdoor games, strawberry shortcake, rhubarb cordial, and a free museum tour with event admission.
This is a yearly event that is not to be missed!

🚜🦪 PEI’s Largest Rural Parade is back! 🎉
Join us for one of the most anticipated events of the Tyne Valley Oyster Festival as decorated floats, tractors, local businesses, community groups, and more make their way through the heart of Tyne Valley!
📅 Saturday, August 1
🕐 Parade starts at 1:00 PM
📍 Route: Britannia Hall to the Cavendish Farms Community Events Centre
🎈 Bring your lawn chairs, gather the family, and enjoy an afternoon celebrating the best of rural PEI!

Have you explored Tyne Valley's beautiful nature trail?
The trailhead starts just behind the Britannia Hall. You can either walk in, loop and come back the way you came or exit by the health center and walk through the village to make your way back to where you started.
So many beautiful sights and sounds to behold, if you take a minute to stop and take it in.
