True North Society

A huge thank you to our incredible sponsors, BrokerLink and Alpine View Pet Spa, for supporting Hollywood Nights 2026. 🙌

We are also grateful to the generous businesses and community partners donating items and experiences for our live auction. Your support helps make this special evening possible and contributes to the vital work of True North Society.

Funds raised through the gala help support survivors of domestic violence and their families through emergency shelter, crisis response, counselling, outreach, advocacy, prevention programming, and housing-related supports.

Interested in donating a live auction item, or learning more about Hollywood Nights 2026? There are still opportunities available. Reach out to us to get involved.

Violence against women is far more common in our communities than most Canadians understand:

👉️Every 5 minutes, a woman in Canada experiences intimate partner violence.
(Source: Statistics Canada, The Daily Trends in police-reported family violence and intimate partner violence in Canada, 2025.)

👉️More than 2 in 5 women experience some form of intimate partner violence in their lifetime.
(Source: Intimate Partner Violence, Government of Canada, 2025).

You can help women in your community by donating to the Shoppers Foundation for Women’s HealthTM Giving Shelter campaign in-store via round-up. Every dollar raised helps local shelters support women finding safety and the resources to escape domestic violence.

💜 From September 12 – October 9, all Shoppers Drug Mart stores will be fundraising to support over 300 local women’s shelters and programs across the country.

💜 To donate, round up your total at checkout, or donate online at shoppersfoundation.ca.

💜 From September 25th – 27th, Shoppers Foundation for Women’s Health will be matching all donations (up to $150,000) made online and in-store.
