Sawyer Farm

Geez Louis….. 🥳👌💥😍…. 97 years old and still cutting grass. !!! He’s loving every minute of it , worked very hard the past year to gain back his strength to do what he loves :). New fence line here we go :)

This is a really well done documentary so fascinating! Makes you think about where your food comes from and the ability we have to reverse the damage that has been done to our soil.

We typically only put cows in the barn in the winter or when they are calving. But with all this rain they have found there way in and have started to sleep in there the last few night.

A little squishy for 18 cows and 9 calves but at least the are warm ❤️

*zoom in to see the little one who is most comfortable 🤭

Happy Birthday Kalicia! Kalicia is definitely the most passionate farmer we have!!! She raises chickens and sells the eggs, she has witnessed nearly every calf birth and she is the first to help with all animal care.

Yesterday she learned to drive the tractor and earlier this year it was the bobcat!!!

And to make the day extra special, calf #9 was born!

We are getting close… Millie was born on the 28th. She is #8, only 2 more to go!!

And the there were 2! Meet Sully. He was born this afternoon. A bit of a rough start but thank goodness for amazing neighbours who came to help this heifer deliver her first calf.

It’s the moment you have all been waiting for…. The FIRST calf of 2026 ARLO🎉

He was born this afternoon ☀️and Baby Honey is such a good mom 💗 they are up in the maternity pen now and everyone is tucked into the barn for the night 🌙

These adorable photos are courtesy of the paparazzi (AKA Kinsley Kalicia and Kybree) 🤣

And super grateful to K-Cow Ranch who provided us these healthy, gentle animals 🐄🤠
