National Day of Truth & Reconciliation 🧡
Today we pause to listen, reflect, and honour the culture and resilience of Indigenous peoples.
Future Forest takes place on the traditional, unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik, nestled alongside the river known as Nem-dit’qu in the Wolastoqey language.
The Forest reminds us to slow down. To listen. To honour the stories that came before us, and to recognize the stories that are still being lived today.
Today, and every day, we hold space for truth, remembrance, learning, and the ongoing work towards the path of reconciliation 🧡🌿
