CARSTAR Supports Record-Breaking Face Off with CF Gala 💙

CARSTAR was proud to support the 2026 Face Off with CF Gala as a Gold Sponsor, helping raise a record-breaking $285,762 for Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

The annual event brought together franchisees, supporters, community leaders, and special guests, including NHL star and CF ambassador Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, to raise critical funds for research, treatment advancements, and support for individuals and families affected by cystic fibrosis.

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, and helped make this incredible result possible. Together, we're creating hope, advancing research, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those impacted by cystic fibrosis.

CARSTAR Cloverdale Celebrates Grand Opening, Raises More Than $1,000 for CF 🚗🎉

A big congratulations to CARSTAR Cloverdale and the Raydar Collision Group on the successful grand opening of their newest location, raising more than $1,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

The celebration brought together community members, customers, partners, and local organizations for a day of fundraising, networking, and fun, featuring a community car wash, entertainment, and an official ribbon-cutting ceremony. With support from the Raydar Collision Group team, Surrey United Female Soccer Club, Mr. Tubesteak, and Rock 101, the event highlighted the power of community while supporting an important cause.

Sometimes, the most meaningful acts of kindness happen simply because someone sees a need, and decides to do something about it.

That’s exactly what CARSTAR Canada in Red Deer, owned by Darryl and Brian Hemstreet, did.

On their own accord, the team at CARSTAR collected thousands of school supplies and donated them to Red Deer Public Schools so they can get into the hands of students who need them most.

There was no big ask. No campaign. They simply saw an opportunity to help local students start the school year with the supplies they need to learn, participate and feel ready to be in the classroom, and they made it happen.

Those supplies will be distributed throughout our schools to help ensure that every student has access to the basics they need to learn and succeed.

A backpack. A notebook. A pencil. These may seem like small things, but for a student who might otherwise go without, they can mean so much.

CARSTAR St. Stephen has met the requirements to be officially recognized as a Kia Certified Collision Repair Center.

Today's vehicles are a lot more complicated than they used to be, and manufacturer certification means making an ongoing investment in the right training, equipment and repair capabilities.

It isn't simply a logo we're allowed to put on an ad.

CARSTAR St. Stephen is Certified Collision Care certified through OEC, and our facility is inspected and certified annually.

The certification process looks at things like the tools, equipment, facilities and trained staff needed to perform modern collision repairs.

That's also part of the foundation behind the manufacturer certifications we hold.

There's a lot more happening behind the scenes of a collision repair than most people ever get to see - and that's exactly how it should be.

CARSTAR Red Deer and CARSTAR Red Deer South Lead Successful School Supply Drive for Local Students 🎒

Over four weeks, CARSTAR Red Deer and CARSTAR Red Deer South, owned by Darryl and Brian Hemstreet, brought their community together to collect backpacks, notebooks, pencils and other essential school supplies for local students. The stores also contributed $500 in supplies to the drive.

With support from customers, employees, community members and the Red Deer Rebels, the campaign made a meaningful impact. The collected supplies were donated to the Red Deer Public School District, where they will support students across all 22 schools and help local families start the school year prepared for success.

A special thank you to the Red Deer Rebels for helping gather additional donations during their annual Intrasquad Game and to everyone who contributed to this community-wide effort. 🏒

That means more school buses on the road, kids walking and biking, busy crosswalks, and a little more traffic during the morning commute.

You might recognize 'Mopar,' but you might not know that CARSTAR St. Stephen is actually a Mopar/FCA Certified Collision Repair Facility.

That certification covers some pretty familiar vehicles around Charlotte County - including Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram.

Certification requires facilities to meet standards involving training, tools, equipment and repair capabilities.

So whether there's a Jeep, Ram, Dodge or Chrysler sitting in your driveway, it's worth knowing there's a certified collision repair facility here in St. Stephen.

Back to school is in full swing, and our CARSTAR shops are making sure local students have the essential tools to thrive this year. Through our Backpacks for Smiles campaign this summer, the CARSTAR Johnny K Group, rallied together with our amazing community partners, the Edmonton Oil Kings, to deliver over 200 packed backpacks to students across 9 local schools. To add a little extra joy, 50 families are getting a special surprise: 2 tickets each to our upcoming CARSTAR Game Day with the Oil Kings!

A massive thank you to our incredible Johnny K team, everyone who donated. It takes a village to support our youth, and we are proud to drive that mission forward together at CARSTAR. 🎒✨

CARSTAR Boucherville has reached an important milestone by becoming the first CARSTAR facility in Quebec to be officially recognized as I-CAR Gold Class Aluminium. This recognition highlights the team’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to best practices and the ongoing evolution of vehicle repair technologies.

The receipt of the five Platinum certificates further confirms this achievement. The team would also like to extend a special thank you to Pat Marcotte and Carrostra Solutions for their guidance and support throughout the entire process.

A great collective achievement that marks the beginning of a new chapter, with CCC certification currently underway. Congratulations to the entire CARSTAR Boucherville team!
