This Thanksgiving, we’re feeling deeply grateful for another season spent in the company of grizzlies, eagles and whales along the Inside Passage.
Thank you to everyone who spent a day with us on the water this season. You brought your curiosity and your respect for this coast, and that's what makes these tours what they are.
Here are a few of our favourite moments from the season. If you were out with us, we'd love to see the season through your eyes. Share or tag us in your favourite photos. We'll be looking through them all winter, already looking forward to next season!

Is it a humpback or an orca? From a distance, the blow is your first clue.
Orcas send up a short, quick blow low over the water, followed by that unmistakable tall triangular dorsal fin, up to 6 feet in adult males. They typically travel in pods, so spotting one fin usually means more are close by.
Humpbacks blow tall and columnar, sometimes visible from over a kilometre away. Their dorsal fin is small and stubby by comparison, set well back on a long black body, easy to miss next to an orca's.
Next time you're scanning the waters from the deck, let the shape of the blow tell you what you're looking at before the fin even shows.
Rugged coastlines. Quiet inlets wrapped in mist. Bald eagles soaring overhead, grizzly bears on the shore, whales surfacing in the Northern Inside Passage.
In Prince Rupert, BC, beauty is all around you at every turn.

The Inside Passage: where cold, nutrient-rich waters, towering tides and salmon-filled rivers come together to create a powerful wildlife highway.
Humpback whales surfacing out of the mist, orcas gliding past emerald islands and endless stretches of remote Northern BC coastline... it doesn't get much better than this.

Every fall, the salmon run turns our coastal rivers into a moving, living highway.
Bears wait at the cascades, forests soak up vital nutrients and in the ocean, orcas depend on the same fish to survive. One species, feeding an entire ecosystem.
This season has been unforgettable because of you.
Thank you to every guest who chose to explore this powerful stretch of coastline with our crew. Your excitement and curiosity are at the heart of every adventure we’re able to share.
If you joined us this year, we’d love to hear from you in the comments: what’s the moment from a tour that still lives in your mind long after you’ve left the water?

A fantastic finale to our whale tour season! We watched five humpback whales bubble net feed on pacific herring! If you zoom in on these photos, you can see the herring trying to jump out of the way! Thank you to all our passengers who joined us throughout the season.
