The Booker School

At The Booker School, we are consistently challenging our students to take risks and try different forms of public speaking. During our Teacher Work Day yesterday, teachers were put in the hot seat to remind ourselves how it feels to do what we ask of our students.

Tickets are now available for our Annual Scholarship Fundraiser!

This year, Mark Riley is bringing The Radical Soul Band to bring a great set for us themed on female singer/song-writers of the 80s and 90s. Themed dress is optional!

Every year we raise money to make our school more accessible for families through our Scholarship and Financial Aid programs. As a non-profit charity, we work hard to bring another option for education to the Annapolis Valley.

We hope to see many of our community there for a fun night!

We will be at the Port Williams Elementary school from 6:00-7:30pm on Monday evening.
Cost is $7.50 per person

We have our three winning art pieces focused on our mascot, The Owl. We held a competition across the school and chose one winner from the Early Years, The Elementary and The Middle School. It was a tough competition with many beautiful pieces representing our school mascot.

We are opening up our Chess Club to children in the community ages 8-14. We get together weekly on Thursdays 4-5pm.

We use an online platform and volunteers to teach chess to beginners and we also have the opportunity to compete with clubs from all over the East Coast.

All participants must agree to a code of conduct to help make this a safe and supportive space for chess!

Our middle school has a carefully crafted curriculum to make sure that every child is supported and challenged during their time with us.

In our small class sizes, children are inspired to take their learning further across the subjects. Whether it is through woodwork in design class, or taking on characters in the annual musical, our students experience a meaningful educational program every day.

Middle school can be a time of enormous growth and opportunity.
