Our Senior School, Grades 9-12, includes approximately 500 students, approximately 60% of whom are boarders.

Trinity College School is a leading independent boarding and day school located on 100 acres in picturesque Port Hope, Ontario, Canada, one hour’s drive east of Toronto. Our Junior School includes about 100 day students from Grade 5 to Grade 8. Established in 1865, TCS is one of Canada's oldest and most respected educational institutions. With a mission of “developing habits of the heart and mind for a life of purpose and service,” the School places a balanced emphasis on academics, service learning, athletics and the arts. TCS is pleased to be hosting three post-secondary fairs this fall, bringing representatives from universities, colleges and GAP year opportunities to campus!

Following a successful first event earlier this month and another hosted today, these fairs provide students an opportunity to speak directly with institutional representatives about programs, admission, campus life, scholarships and other questions.

Yesterday Junior School chapel was extra special as we welcomed Junior School families alongside feathered, furred and scaly friends!

Continuing a beloved Trinity College School tradition, Junior School students and families gathered for the "Blessing of the Animals” chapel service in honour of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, who was renowned for his love of all God’s creatures. The service offered a meaningful opportunity to honour animal companions who were with us today and remember those who have passed.

Last week, students in the AP Art and Design classes travelled to Toronto to explore the Art Gallery of Ontario, where they viewed exhibits which included The Impressionist Revolution: Monet to Matisse from the Dallas Museum of Art exhibition as well as "My 90's Rock Photographs" exhibition by Melissa Auf der Maur, bassist for grunge bands Hole and The Smashing Pumpkins. Students then completed sketchbook work consisting of drawings and analysis.

It was a terrific day of learning and exploring arts and culture!

Science experimentation in action! 👀 Over in our Junior School, Grade 8 students recently made “Ooblek” as part of their fluids unit, testing their creation to determine if it is a fluid and under what conditions. Meanwhile, students in Grade 7 explored the variables that affect how much fizz is produced when baking soda and vinegar are combined.
