What are you favourite Halloween cartoons? Here are a few of mine! Some of them (hint: the one staring a beagle) I’ve already watched a few times this year! 😜

The Revival (art gallery, art supplies, cafe) in Hamilton sold out of my book. So I dropped in today and signed 10 more copies for them! Make sure to give them a visit. It’s a beautiful space!!!!

I’ll be posting the schedule for my West Coast tour this week, but you’re not gonna want to miss this!

Rebel Goose Books is bringing together an incredible group of 2SLGBTQIA+ Canadian authors and illustrators for The Books We Wish We’d Had, a celebration of q***r stories and the books we needed growing up.

I’m so excited to be joining Tegan Quin, Stacey Chomiak, Tash McAdam and Tony Correia for a conversation about the books that shaped us, the stories we wish had existed, and how q***r children’s literature is changing for the next generation. And we’ll be joined by the fabulous Jillian Christmas as our moderator!

We’ll be celebrating during Transgender Awareness Week on Sunday, November 15, at the Vancouver Art Gallery. The event is free, but you do need to RSVP!

I’m so excited to share that ‘Guinea Pigs Don’t Wear Pants’ is one of the contest winners of the Reading Rainbow Book Drive.

Out of the over 6,000 books donated to the book drive, only 36 were selected as a Reading Rainbow favourite and featured on their website and social media. This special book drive celebrates children’s literacy and helps bring books to more kids through a partnership with Buffalo Toronto Public Media.

Reading Rainbow was a big part of my childhood, and so many others, so seeing my book included is pretty special!

As I shared on their website, “What if we stopped telling children who they’re supposed to be and instead celebrated who they already are?”

That’s what this little book is all about. 💜
