The dream is not dead yet!
I have continued to work on some recipes and chatting with possible kitchens to call home for Cheesecake by Mel. I've protected longer timelines and if it is meant to be, it'll be within the next 2 years.

This will probably be some sad news for many of you and I will definitely miss being "the cheesecake lady"...
I have decided to close Cheesecake by Mel.
With the cost of dairy products and renting a commercial kitchen, a smart business plan has become kind of a funny thought process.
I have decided to stop my search for a permanent home/ kitchen and put away my cheesecake pans.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me these last 2 years- taste testers, customers, those who acted as resource and funding brokers... Thank you all!!
I'm not good at the overly touchy- feely things, but I truly felt your kind support and am grateful for the chance to make your creamy goodness dreams come true 🥰 🥰

I have been so busy with all the special requests, making pumpkin cheesecake for days! I haven't had a chance to post any slices here.
That being said, I will be making 2 more pumpkin cheesecakes next week, with slices ready for pick up on Thursday.
Please send me a PM if you would like any and I'll make sure to reserve some for you.
They will be in boxes of 2 (I don't have any 4 slice boxes currently).
