Bodwell's Summer Programs

Week 5 of the Bodwell Summer Program was another week full of energy, creativity, teamwork, and fun! ☀️

Students got creative with boat making, putting their design and problem-solving skills to the test, and explored patterns and creativity through Zentangle art. 🎨⛵

The week was also packed with sports and movement, including Capture the Flag, soccer, hip-hop, and more! ⚽️🏃‍♀️💃 Students had plenty of opportunities to work together, try something new, and get active while making memories with friends.

Of course, our mornings continued to be filled with engaging English lessons and activities, helping students build their communication skills while learning in a fun and supportive environment. 📚🗣️

As we enter the final stretch of the Bodwell Summer Program, it’s hard to believe how quickly the summer has gone by! We’re so proud of everything our students have learned, the friendships they’ve made, and the memories they’ve created along the way. 💙

Our Whistler Day Trip was packed with adventure! 🏔️✨

Students took on another Goose Chase, exploring Whistler Village and completing fun missions along the way. They also visited Shannon Falls with BB, taking in the beautiful views and enjoying the great outdoors. 🌲

Safe to say, we had an amazing time! 💙

Week 4 of the Bodwell Summer Program was filled with hands-on learning, creativity, and unforgettable memories!

This week, students explored a wide variety of exciting afternoon activities, including yoga, drama, swimming, science experiments where they made slime and stress balls, and art projects using air-dry clay. They also put their taste buds to the test during our fun Snackdown Challenge, sampling and voting for their favourite Canadian snacks!

In the mornings, students continued to strengthen their English skills through engaging lessons and interactive classroom activities, building confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and teamwork every day.

From discovering new talents to making new friends, Week 4 was another fantastic chapter of an amazing summer.

On Monday, students got a taste of what it’s like to be a Bodwell High School student! 🎓✨

The first stop was finding out which Bodwell house they belonged to.

Next, they tried on the Bodwell school uniform and posed for a photo, imagining what life as a high school student could be like. 📸

Our team then introduced students to the Bodwell experience through a special presentation, giving them a glimpse into academics, student life, and everything our school has to offer.

The adventure continued with a visit to our STEM Lab, where students explored hands-on learning opportunities, followed by a behind-the-scenes look at Bodwell News with our Media Team. 🎥🔬

To wrap up the day, everyone gathered for a live jam session with some of our talented alumni, ending the experience with great music and plenty of school spirit. 🎸🎶
