The Lighthouse Learning & Development Centre empowers neurodiverse individuals through education, life skills, and community support.
We offer Elementary and Secondary School, and Adult Services like Day Training and Work Experience. Children with Autism have individual learning barriers, but they are NOT incapable of learning. When those barriers are identified and the teaching process is personalized to how a child learns extraordinary success can be achieved. It's time we focus on what our children CAN do and embrace their differences.

💦 Social skills through shared play
💦 Communication and following directions
Most importantly, it gives our kids the opportunity to challenge themselves, celebrate their successes, and have fun along the way.

We are excited to now offer Comprehensive Psychoeducational Assessments along with the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) to support the formal assessment and diagnosis process for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Our assessments can help provide:
• A comprehensive understanding of learning, cognitive, and behavioural strengths and needs
• Autism-specific assessment using the ADOS
• Detailed reports with personalized recommendations
• Documentation to support school planning, accommodations, and access to services and funding when appropriate
