I make one-of-a-kind of beautiful functional pottery efficiently and sustainably. I started learning how to make pottery in Canada since October of 2014.
I found that every single step of making pottery surprises me and encourages me to make more and better pottery. It is so amazing that seeing the tea pots, plates, mugs and even more functional beautiful pieces were completed with my hands and happy to hear that people enjoy the convenience of using them.
When your clay is way too hard, your only options are: wait a whole week to rehydrate it, or burn all your energy just to make a tiny cup. ☕🤦♀️

🎉 Studio setup is officially complete! Pottery wheel, tools, and space are all ready to go.
Only one small hiccup... my clay from the move to the Island is currently too dehydrated. 😅Waiting on it to soak up some water so the throwing can finally begin! 🏺✨

This is a truly heartbreaking way to start the morning. Losing a piece of functional art, my work, that has been part of my daily ritual for over a decade feels like losing a small, steady companion. 🤧

It’s been a while since the last time I did a pottery sale in the market, but I always deeply appreciate that people are so kind to me and love my work. A massive thank you to all the wonderful people who helped me get here!
