The Common Ostrich (1&2) , the Grey Crowned Crane hanging with a Threskiornis in the 3rd. Air Kenya took us in from Nairobi, rain came down heavy while gravel peppered the underside .

A fun adventure :-)

The Olive Baboon, Incredibly intelligent primates w/ complex social structures, alliances, grooming hierarchies, and communication systems. A troop can range from a few dozen to well over 100 individuals.
The Mom w/young will carry this way at first. The old boy off a bit by himself, likely a leader, always looked cranky. A rare look into the camera, they usually steer away from humans. 3rd pic: I was standing on the rainy runway, the sound of gravel under the plane on take off was memorable.

It’s !
The White Rhinoceros — prehistoric, grass powered -low emissions , too rare and these two are not likely to have little ones. One not interested, the other too old.
These beautiful slow movers we found near the
Enonkishu Conservancy, on the edge of the Maasai Mara — where only a few white rhinos remain in this ecosystem.
Photographed near Enonkishu Conservancy, on the northern edge of the Maasai Mara ecosystem.
Only a handful remain in this region.

It’s ! Your morning yawn probably looked like this. This Hippo’s version may not be so different as it’s more of a threat or warning…much like moments before when one hasn’t had their morning coffee. 🙂 Truth be told ,
The hippopotamus opens wide like this, it’s a warning. That jaw can stretch to nearly 150°, backed by one of the strongest bite forces in the animal kingdom. Translation: personal space matters, much like your pre coffee time. So don’t choose violence…enjoy your coffee.

Day 1 in Edmundston with great team at Vitalité Health Network.

This ongoing project is about showcasing the people behind healthcare , and the technology that supports them every day.

Grateful to be trusted with telling the visual story. Looking forward to Day 2.

I finally met Pumbaa, no sidekick, just attitude and tusks . Meet the real deal , the Common Warthog, scruffy, stubborn and stealer of the show.

The secret trip? This is where it starts.
Welcome to Safari Sunday.

I went a trip far far away since Christmas, almost unannounced, until now. The many many photos captured on this trip of a lifetime are getting sorted finally. Can anyone guess where I went ?
