What’s your baby’s sleep personality? 👀💤
Some babies melt into sleep like warm butter.
Others act like tiny detectives, scanning the room, checking every sound, and making very sure they’re not missing anything.
And then there are the highly aware babies…
The ones who notice the flicker of a lamp.
The creak of a floorboard.
The door opening three rooms away.
And somehow… the exact moment you try to sneak away. 😅
Your baby’s sleep isn’t just about routine.
Temperament matters, too.
Understanding your baby’s sleep personality can help you make sense of bedtime battles, nap struggles, and why what works beautifully for one baby completely falls apart with another.
So… what’s your baby’s sleep personality?
Is sleep training fun? No.
It’s emotional, it’s tiring, and it pushes you in ways you don’t expect.
But is it worth it?
Absolutely.
Sleep training isn’t about perfection — it’s about giving your baby the skills to settle, rest, and grow… and giving you the space to breathe again. It’s a short, challenging phase that leads to long‑term calm, confidence, and predictable nights.
When you’re in it, it feels hard.
When you’re through it, it feels life‑changing.
If you’re ready to start but don’t want to do it alone, I’m here to guide you through every step; before, during, and after, so you feel supported, steady, and sure of what you’re doing. 💛

🤍 5 YEARS OF SLEEP BEBE SLEEP 🤍
Five years ago, I started with a simple dream: to help families get the rest they so desperately needed.
I could never have imagined where that little dream would take me.
Over the past five years, I’ve had the incredible privilege of helping so many families navigate sleepless nights, endless wake-ups, short naps, bedtime battles, and those moments when you’re wondering, “Will we ever sleep again?” 🥹
I’ve been there for the tired parents who just needed someone to say, “I’ve got you.”
I’ve celebrated the first longer stretch of sleep, the first peaceful bedtime, the nap that finally worked, and the mornings when parents woke up feeling like themselves again.
And while sleep is what brings families to me, what stays with me are the people.
The parents who trusted me.
The little ones I’ve gotten to know through stories and sleep plans.
The messages saying, “We finally slept!”
The relief.
The tears.
The celebrations.
The transformation that happens when a family finally gets the rest they need. 🤍
Five years later, I am still so incredibly grateful that I get to do this work.
Thank you to every family who has trusted Sleep Bebe Sleep over these past five years. Thank you for letting me into such a vulnerable and exhausting part of your lives, and for allowing me to be a small part of your journey.
5 years. Hundreds of families. So many little ones sleeping better. And one very grateful sleep coach. 💤🤍

🌙 The “Invisible Load” of Baby Sleep
Nobody talks about the mental load of baby sleep.
The tracking.
The guessing.
The timing.
The wake windows.
The “is this a regression or just Tuesday?”
The constant adjusting.
Even when your child sleeps independently, you carry the responsibility of keeping everything on track.
It’s exhausting.
It’s emotional.
It’s real.
And it’s okay to admit that baby sleep isn’t just about the baby, it’s about the parent’s nervous system too.
If you’re feeling the weight of it, you’re not alone.
Explore early morning fixes or book a support call if you need a reset. 🙂
My hot take on the Merlin Sleep Suit!
I think the Merlin can be a helpful transition between a swaddle and a sleep sack-but I don’t think it’s necessary.
Sometimes, babies end up staying in it longer than they really need to, and the extra bulk can limit their movement when they’re working on important developmental skills.
The good news? You can absolutely go straight from a swaddle to a sleep sack and have a successful transition.
Every baby is different, but you don’t necessarily need an extra step just because it’s popular. Less is often more when it comes to baby sleep.

The “My Baby Sleeps Better in the Car Than the Crib” Mystery
Ever wonder why your baby sleeps like a champ in the car… but fights sleep in the crib?
It’s not because they hate the crib, it’s because the car creates the perfect sensory setup:
• constant motion
• steady noise
• zero stimulation
• cozy positioning
It shuts off their nervous system instantly.
The crib? Still, quiet, open… and full of awareness.
But you can make crib sleep feel easier by borrowing a few car‑like elements:
✨ Use steady white noise — recreate that engine hum
✨ Dark room — less to look at = easier settling
✨ Keep the routine rhythmic — slow rocking, gentle patting
✨ Make the space cozy (safely) — a sleep sack helps
✨ Use strong sleep cues — a phrase, song, or predictable steps
Crib sleep is a skill. If you want help making crib sleep smoother, explore sleep environment tips.
