Over the past year, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to update this beautiful home while carrying on the wonderful reputation Meadow Edge has built here in the heart of Lumsden.
Our goal is pretty simple: we want assisted living to feel like home. A place where your family member can continue living life their way, while having the support, care, and connection they need around them.
We’ve made some significant changes, from renovating our rooms and refreshing our spaces to expanding the services and activities we offer. And we’re not done. We’ll continue looking for ways to make life here even better for our residents and their families.
This newly renovated room is just one little look at what we’ve been working on. It’s bright, comfortable, and ready for someone to make it their own.
Meadow Edge does things a little differently, and we’re really proud of where we’re headed.

We’re excited to welcome Nurse Practitioner Ayo Babalola to Meadow Edge House! 🤍
“Hello everyone! I’m excited to introduce myself as the new Nurse Practitioner joining the care team here at Meadow Edge. I’m looking forward to getting to know the residents, families, and staff, and to being part of the wonderful care community here. I’m honored to support the health and well-being of everyone.”
We’re always looking for ways to make life a little easier for our residents and their families. We know schedules are busy, and while you want to be there for your loved one, getting to every appointment or managing all the pieces of their healthcare isn’t always easy.
Having Ayo as part of our care team adds another layer of support right here at Meadow Edge. With experience in internal medicine, cardiology, long-term care, clinical nursing and community-based care, Ayo will be able to assist our residents with geriatric and long-term care, prescription renewals and medication reviews, ordering and interpreting lab and diagnostic tests, referrals, family education and coordination with other healthcare providers.
For families, we hope this means a little more convenience and, most importantly, more confidence knowing there is another healthcare professional who knows your loved one and is part of their ongoing care.
It’s one more way we’re continuing to grow the level of care and support we can offer while keeping Meadow Edge what it has always been: a small, comfortable home where people are known and cared for as individuals.

A fresh space and a new chapter at Meadow Edge House. 🤍
Under new management, we're excited to build on the wonderful reputation Meadow Edge has established here in Lumsden, while continuing to invest in the home and create a place where our residents feel comfortable, cared for, and truly at home.
And speaking of fresh starts… we have a beautiful newly renovated suite ready to welcome someone new.
