Slough Comics by Eric Dyck

Eric Dyck is a cartoonist and art educator from right here in Lethbridge. He has shared his love of cartoons and comic-storytelling in art galleries, museums, schools and libraries throughout Alberta and New Brunswick. Eric has been documenting his experiences and adventures in Southern Alberta through his webcomic, Slaughterhouse Slough. Eric uses his comic strip to share about the people that he meets, the stories that he hears and as a means of learning more about the history of Southern Alberta.

The fifth and final Henderson Lake mural is in progress!

Excited to see that Slough Comics by Eric Dyck is at it again at Henderson Lake!

Today is the day the city is bringing chalk to the park for our Giant Outdoor Colouring Book Day! 11-4 at the big (north) playground!

I am home and healthy! All investigations are done and I’m totally fine. I am recovering from an angiogram, which the doctor said was “the cleanest angiogram I’ve seen in my entire career.” That isn’t a Trumpy joke about hyperbole, that’s a verbatim quote. Really!

I am not recovering from illness, I am recovering from the investigations. Angiograms are a bu**er. Once I have full use of my arm again I will be back to painting ground murals at the lake! I will also be back at Analog Books on Sunday.
