My haul from yesterday! Here are a few things I look for when thrifting as a reseller:
• craftsmanship- is it unique, handmade, well-made?
• would I be thrilled to have it in my own home?
• is it useful? Can it be used in several ways?
• is the price right? This is where it gets tricky- I have to be sure that I’ll make a profit if I’m selling it. This comes with experience- knowing what sells and how much I can sell it for. If I’m not sure, I’ll do a quick photo search on Etsy to see if there is something similar there.

I’ll never get rich doing this, but it sure is a lot of fun!

This is the second year in a row I have gone to Farmhouse in the Fields Vintage Market and it is so much fun! It is on today and tomorrow so go if you get a chance 😊. I find each vendor has their own unique style and there were a few tents that I loved everything they had to offer. But I stuck to my list for buying what I know I can sell. I always look for items that are unique or useful or just plain beautiful. I can’t wait to style these items with my handmade linens in the upcoming weeks and months.
