Need your bloodwork done but have difficulty getting to one of our clinics? **Lifeline Blood Collection offers home visit blood collection services.**

📅 **Home visits must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance**
💰 **Cost: $40**
🩸 Blood collection completed in the comfort of your own home.

Please note that **home visits are by appointment only** and must be arranged in advance.

📢 A LITTLE UPDATE FROM LIFELINE BLOOD COLLECTION❤️

Over the next week or two, you may notice some new faces at **both of our locations — Holyrood and Bay Roberts — as we train new members of our team.**

As with any new employee, there is a learning curve. We kindly ask for your **patience and understanding** during this training period, as some collections and transactions may take a little longer than usual while our staff learn our procedures and become comfortable in their new roles.

Most importantly, we ask that everyone please remember that **our staff are learning and doing their very best.** Please be patient, respectful and kind. ❤️

We also want to remind everyone that **Jessika will not always be in the office.** As the owner, she is often moving between locations, working behind the scenes, handling business matters, and supporting the team. We truly appreciate everyone getting comfortable with our staff and allowing them the opportunity to assist you.

🔈 A Little Reintroduction… Meet the Woman Behind Lifeline ❤️ 🔊

To all of our new followers—welcome to Lifeline!
With so many new faces joining our Lifeline page, I thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself and tell you a little bit about the woman behind the business.

Hi, I’m Jessika Ghaney(Lucas) — wife, mom to three children,Certified Medical Laboratory Assistant, and the proud owner of
Lifeline Blood Collection.

My journey in healthcare began long before Lifeline. I completed my Medical Laboratory Assistant training in Edmonton, Alberta, in 2010, and went on to gain valuable clinical experience working in one of Canada’s leading hospitals before returning home to Newfoundland and continuing my career within the NL Health system.

Over the years, I always had a vision of creating something of my own — a place where patients could receive professional, reliable blood collection services in an environment that felt a little more personal and a lot less overwhelming.
In 2022, that vision became a reality when Lifeline Blood Collection opened its doors in Holyrood.

What started as one clinic has grown into two Lifeline locations, serving patients in both Holyrood, Bayroberts and all the surrounding communities.Watching Lifeline grow from an idea into something that has become part of our local communities has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.
And behind all of that growth.

Is simply me — a busy wife, a mom, a healthcare professional, and a business owner trying to balance it all. I know what it's like to have a million things on the go, which is one of the reasons convenience has always been such an important part of what I wanted Lifeline to offer.
I wanted to create a place where getting bloodwork could be simple, professional, comfortable, and convenient — without losing the personal side of healthcare.

At Lifeline, accuracy and professionalism will always be at the heart of what we do, but so will the way our patients feel when they walk through our doors. I want people to feel welcomed, respected, and confident that they're in good hands.

Lifeline isn't just a business to me. It's something I built from the ground up, while raising my family, building my career, and believing that there was a better way to do things.

From one little clinic in Holyrood to two locations and a growing Lifeline family, I am incredibly proud of how far we've come — and I'm even more excited about where we're going.

If you visit your family doctor or have a **virtual appointment through Teladoc**, you may be told that your blood requisition is accessible through the new electronic system.

**Please note: this does NOT apply to private blood collection clinics.**

Lifeline Blood Collection is **not connected to the new system**, and we do **not have access to your electronic requisition**.

👉 **Please ask your doctor’s office or Teladoc provider to kindly print your requisition for you, or email it directly to you.**

If you receive your requisition electronically, **we can print it for you at either of our Lifeline locations.** 🖨️🩸

You may also notice that requisitions look a little different than they used to. Some requisitions are now **multiple pages**, and that is completely normal.

📄 **Please bring ALL pages of your requisition with you** when you come for your blood collection.

We know the healthcare system is changing, and we appreciate your patience as everyone gets used to the new process. 💗
