Downtown Auto Specialist

Do you know if your vehicle has a timing belt or a timing chain? 🔧

Belts typically need replacement at a set interval, while chains usually last much longer but can still wear out. Not sure which one you have or when it was last checked? Downtown Auto Specialist can look it up for you.

A humming or grinding noise that changes with your speed could be a wheel bearing starting to wear out 👂

Left unchecked, a failing wheel bearing can affect handling and safety. If you're hearing something unusual, Downtown Auto Specialist can take a listen and diagnose it properly.

Coolant does double duty — keeping your engine from overheating in summer and from freezing in winter 🧊

If it's been a while since your last coolant flush, fall is the perfect time. Book a check with Quarrie's Tire & Auto before the first freeze hits London.

Ever wonder what that little tire-shaped warning light on your dash actually means? 🛞💡 That's your TPMS — Tire Pressure Monitoring System — letting you know one or more tires have dropped below the safe pressure range. It's especially worth paying attention to as fall temperatures start swinging, since cooler air means dropping pressure. If that light comes on, don't ignore it — swing by Quarrie's Tire & Auto and we'll get you sorted.

Summer's winding down, but your AC system doesn't take the fall off 🍂❄️ A quick off-season check now can catch a slow refrigerant leak or a weak component before you need it again next spring. Cheaper to fix it now than to discover it on the first hot day of next summer. Downtown Auto Specialist can take a look.

Ever wonder why your tires get rotated front-to-back or crisscrossed? 🛞

The right rotation pattern depends on your vehicle's drivetrain and helps tires wear evenly, extending their life. Not sure when yours was last rotated? Downtown Auto Specialist can check and take care of it.

That squealing sound when you brake isn't just annoying — it's usually your brake pads telling you they're getting thin 🛑 Most pads have a built-in wear indicator that makes noise on purpose once they need attention. If you're hearing it, Downtown Auto Specialist can take a look before it turns into a bigger repair.
