At a time when Canada and its NATO allies are focusing on defence readiness, industrial resilience, and sovereign defence capability, we should recognize Prime Minister Carney’s leadership in securing the Defence, Security and Resilience Bank for Canada (DSRB).

Big things are taking shape in Hamilton ⚓️
Following our collaboration with .college and , we’re bringing a new, industry-led training model to life, right here in the shipyard.
Together, we’re building a shipbuilding learning hub where students and apprentices gain real, hands-on experience alongside skilled tradespeople.
Over the coming months, our fabrication shop will transform into a production hall supporting the build of a naval training vessel creating a live environment where the next generation learns by doing.
This is where Ontario’s next generation of shipbuilders gets built.

From pipeline projects in Saudi Arabia to helping support one of the largest VLE projects at Ontario Shipyards, Jithil brings experience, adaptability, and leadership to the yard every day.
After moving to Canada with his family in search of new opportunities and a better future, he found a strong team environment at Ontario Shipyards, one built on growth, collaboration, and solving complex challenges together.
Since joining in 2020, he’s proudly been a part of the yard’s growth working alongside an incredible team.
