We love our families. We really, really do.

But after four hours of debating political opinions you didn't ask for, explaining for the third time why you’re still single, and watching your uncle fall asleep mid-sentence on the good couch... you’re going to need an exit strategy.

As Halifax’s #1 custom garage builder, JonesCo Builders builds that exact strategy. We handle the entire project from start to finish—starting at $29,995 + HST + Site Work:

🚨JonesCo is growing, and we are looking for a reliable, experienced Full-Time Carpenter to join our crew. We specialize exclusively in new residential construction: custom homes, detached garages, and backyard suites within HRM. If you’ve got the framing and finish skills, the tools, and a great attitude, we want to hear from you.

🛠What You’ll Do
• Framing & Structural: Layout, build, and troubleshoot walls and roof systems.

• Exterior Finishes: Install windows, exterior doors, house wrap, and siding/trim to get structures weather-tight.

• Interior Finish Work: Put the final touches on our builds, including hanging interior doors and running trim/baseboards.

• Plans & Layout: Read and interpret construction drawings to execute precise layouts, ensuring everything is square, plumb, and true from day one.

• Site Management: Maintain clean, safe, and productive job sites.

🛠What We Are Looking For
• Experience: 3+ years of professional carpentry experience, with a heavy emphasis on residential new construction and framing.

• Skills: Proficient with all standard framing and finish hand/power tools. Strong layout skills are a massive plus.

• Reliability: A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to travel to our various build sites across HRM

• Gear: Your own personal hand tools, tool belt, and proper PPE. (Major power tools and equipment provided).

• Attitude: Someone who takes pride in their work, respects the craft, and works well both independently and as part of a crew.

• Physical: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work comfortably in seasonal outdoor weather conditions.

🚨🚨FATHER'S DAY "GETAWAY" GIVEAWAY🚨🚨

🐠This Father’s Day, Docks R Us is sponsoring a brief disappearance from society with the ultimate "Do Not Resuscitate (Unless the Dock is On Fire)" prize pack.

📣One lucky dad is winning:

💼 The Tactical Backpack Tackle Bag: Rugged enough to survive the elements; spacious enough to pack an extra pair of underwear in case he decides he's never coming home.

🍺 A Cold Pack of Brews: Because "hydrating" is important when you're working hard doing absolutely nothing.

🤿 A Yeti Tumbler: Keeps ice frozen for days—which is convenient, because that’s exactly how long he plans on staying "lost."

🛟 Premium Lures: Guaranteed to catch monster fish, or at least give him an excuse for why he’s been staring at the water for six hours straight.

😎 Docks R Us Clothing Swag: Official camouflage to blend into the scenery so nobody asks him to "fix the dishwasher".
