Treebeard's Tree Care

We were lucky to work with a lovely customer who took such excellent photos while we pruned her willow tree.

We reduced the weight, and removed overhanging branches that were in danger of squishing her garden sheds.

We had the amazing opportunity to work on some wonderful 200 year old maple trees. Thankfully the owners of this property love their trees and wanted them to look their best. So in came the Ents at Treebeards! We dead wooded the dead and dying limbs and raised the canopy for road and driveway clearance. These beauties will be around for a long time and we're so glad we got to be a part of their legacy!

Family-owned and operated. Proud to serve the Annapolis Valley as an insured arborist. Let me know how I can help you achieve your tree goals.

Scope includes:
• Tree health, hazard and risk assessments
• Pruning
• Removal and emergency services
• Land clearing
• Pest inspection

Great things in the making this winter! This slab went through a process called ebonizing. We think it turned out beautifully and had to share the work in progress.

This tree was cut and milled on site in Kentville then saved for future projects. It feels very fulfilling to work on a piece that could have easily been seen as waste of effort. But every minute cutting, milling, sanding and staining has preserved the life of this tree.

With tree season nearing an end, it's hard not to reminisce about warmer days spent under spectacular trees. This particular job was a lot fun where we got to drop some 75 foot pines. The pines were later sectioned into moveable lengths and will be used in future endeavors! We love to see the life of the tree continue even after removal.

It's been a wonderful year of meeting new people, making friends, and feeling welcomed into the community. We can't thank our customers and neighbor's enough for helping us navigate our first year in the Annapolis valley.

For those still in need of help with their trees, please don't hesitate to contact us! We are available for storm damage and emergency calls during the winter months, as well as quotes for the coming spring.

Thank you again and we hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

This beautiful red oak has been a recent project of ours. Even though it was in good health our lovely clients needed it gone and we were happy to help! However we are of the mentality that nothing should go to waste. From chipping branches, bucking up firewood to milling slabs for future use this tree is a perfect example of how we can make the most out of tree removals!

Did you know wood chips can be used in garden beds to help prevent weeds and is an excellent addition to your compost? Do you love sitting by a fire on warm summer nights? Or do you hope to see large wood go to good use? We got you covered!

Here's an excellent example of a beautiful maple that needed some help. We removed dead branches, storm damage and reduced weight on the limbs for the upcoming growing season! Giving the maple ideal conditions to produce new growth.
