His experience working 3,700 feet underground in Nevada mines helped keynote speaker Chris Gonsalvez develop a philosophy on leadership and light. 🔦

He spoke about the power of vision, direction, and hope and how each of us adds our light as we take care of one another and our students.💖

☀️ Thanks for making our Divisional Day brighter, Chris!

There will be no classes for students from October 9 through October 13, 2026. October 9 and 13 are staff professional learning days.

On October 12 we celebrate Thanksgiving. Indigenous peoples have celebrated the fall harvest since before the arrival of Europeans. In 1957, Thanksgiving was proclaimed an annual Canadian event to occur on the second Monday of October.

🍂We wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving, as with grateful hearts we celebrate the gifts and bounties we enjoy. 🌽
