It’s Halloween on a Saturday night this year so you know what to do.... Choose Your Own Adventure.

This year at The Elks Hall we’re throwing the theme wide open. Come as your favourite horror character, super hero, obscure movie reference, nightmare zombie, ridiculous inside joke… whatever you want.
No theme to follow, no rules to your costume — Halloween is the theme.

As always, we’ll be completely transforming the Elks Hall for the night. Think Halloween mash up, creepy corners, cobwebs, lights, projections and plenty of surprises. From the minute you walk through the doors until the last track at 2am, you’re in it.

And the music is getting the Choose Your Own Adventure treatment too.

Five DJs. Loads of different genres. Expect a night that moves through house, funk, bass, electronic, throwbacks, psytrance and whatever else gets pulled out along the way.

Halloween only comes once a year. We intend to make the most of it.

Two very different nights of live music coming up at THE Knox on 2nd in OCTOBER.

First up, JADE ELEPHANT on October 9 — and they're coming back to Fernie fresh off being named 2026 GROUP OF THE YEAR at the YYC Music Awards!

If you caught them at The Knox last November, you'll know why we're excited to have them back. Big sound, seriously good musicianship and one hell of a live band. Charles Benjamin & Dan Gordon open the night.

Then on October 24, things get wonderfully weird with STUBBS AND THE — multi-genre, multilingual, theatrical and ridiculously fun. They absolutely killed it at Fun Field Festival this summer, and if you were there, you already know: this isn't just a concert, it's an experience. Damien Alblas opens the night.

STUBBS AND THE are coming to The Knox!
If you caught these guys at Fun Field Festival this summer, you already know why we had to get them back.

STUBBS AND THE absolutely killed it at Fun Field. They are ridiculously fun to watch, completely unpredictable and one of those bands where trying to explain what genre they are is pretty much pointless.

Hailing from Rossland, this five-piece BAND describe themselves as a multi-genre theatrical musical experience — and that's exactly what you get. They sing in more than 10 languages, jump between musical styles, move from head-banging to ballroom dancing and somehow turn the whole thing into one big, weird, hilarious, joyful performance.

This isn't just a concert. It's an experience.

And opening the night we've got DAMIEN ALBLAS, a Kootenay-based psychedelic alt-rock artist bringing his own dose of theatrical energy to the stage. With new music out this year and a summer of shows around BC and the Yukon behind him, he's a pretty damn good fit for this particular night of musical madness.

Last years Infinitea Flashback was so fun, we are doing it again!

We are teaming up with the Fernie W**e Club to bring some of the favorite Infintea food menu items back, paired with some amazing w**es!

And we are so grateful to be back on the patio at Freshies - thank you to the whole Freshies team for being amazing hosts and such wonderful people!

On Wednesday, September 9, we'll be serving four courses pulled straight from the old Infinitea days, paired with four glasses of w**e.

COURSE ONE
Trio of bruschetta — tomato, artichoke & tomatillo on crostini with balsamic reduction

COURSE TWO
Roasted beet & basil balls with Masala hummus

COURSE THREE
Almond coconut satay chicken wings with arugula salad

COURSE FOUR
Slow-smoked pulled pork with Root B**r BBQ sauce, tangy coleslaw & ciabatta

$55 per person, including four glasses of w**e.

Vegetarian, GF and non-alcoholic options are available, just make sure to book with plenty of notice so we can cater for you.

And if you've still got room, there will be raspberry white chocolate cheesecake available as an optional extra.

A feature cocktail as well as some of the old Infinitea b**r options will be available as well!

Come hang out on the patio, eat some old Infinitea favourites and have a bit of a food flashback with us.

The Calgary power trio returns on October 9 after a standout show in Fernie last year. Since then, they've won the 2025 YYC Music Award for Rock Recording of the Year with their single So Far, earned a YYC Music Award nomination for Group of the Year, and received a Western Canadian Music Award nomination for Rock Artist of the Year. They've also shared the stage with Big Wreck, Collective Soul, and Default, continuing to build a reputation as a band that's best experienced live.

Opening the night are Fernie's own Charles Benjamin & Dan Gordon, kicking things off with the kind of songwriting and musicianship that always makes it worth getting there early.

Bring your crew... or just wander in for one drink. We all know how that usually goes.

This Thursday we're slowing things down with a night of roots, dub and reggae, all played the way it was meant to be heard... on vinyl.

Naytaron will be behind the decks from 8–11pm, digging through crates and spinning selections all night.

Cold drinks, good people, and a soundtrack you won't hear on shuffle.

This amazing show may be sold out, but the impact doesn't stop at the music.

A portion of the bar sales from the July 23 show at the Knox will be donated to the Elk River Alliance, a local organization that's been protecting and restoring the Elk River watershed through science, education and hands-on community projects since 2010.

If you care about our river environment, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Become a member, sign up to volunteer, or simply learn more about the work they're doing right here in the Elk Valley by jumping on the website.
