The Red Door Restaurant is located in the downtown core of Fergus Ontario. Lunch Hours: Monday - Sa The Red Door was established in June 2016.
The Red Door is a restaurant/cafe at the back of The Fountainhead Health Store on St.Andrew Street, downtown Fergus. We are open for lunch 11:00 - 3:00, with drinks & desserts available before, throughout and after service. Locals may remember the small cafe which was located at the front of the Fountainhead Store prior to this. What used to be a very small quaint cafe has expanded to become the restaurant we have now. Despite these changes, the restaurant continues to maintain its desire to provide a place for everyone to enjoy a healthy meal. We are a mostly vegetarian restaurant with many vegan options. All of our baked goods are made in house and are gluten free. We also provide gluten free options for most of our menu. We provide the freshest food possible, avoiding the use of commercial products and making each meal per order.

A little Italian romance is on the lunch menu today! 🇮🇹❤️
Our Italian Affair Panini is bringing together salami, roasted red peppers, mozzarella, parmesan, pesto and mayo, all tucked between slices of Tuscan bread and grilled until golden. A rather delicious little affair, if we do say so ourselves. 😉

Today’s soup is a lovely, comforting Potato Leek, and our Caramel Bourbon Pumpkin Latte is still here to keep you company through these cooler October days. ☕🍂

Some days call for the classics, and other days we like to get a little carried away in the Red Door kitchen. Today might be a bit of both! 🍍❤️
Our Hawaiian Pizza Panini takes a familiar favourite and gives it a little personality. Ham, pineapple, caramelized onions, melted cheese, pesto, pizza sauce, and a spoonful of rhubarb ginger jam for a sweet little twist. All grilled until golden! 🥪🧀

Meanwhile, there’s a pot of creamy Cauliflower Soup keeping warm on the stove, and our Caramel Bourbon Pumpkin Latte is bringing a little indulgence to the coffee counter this week. ☕🍂
We’re rather fond of lunches that don’t take themselves too seriously, especially when they taste this good.

There’s something especially good about a lunch that comes out of the kitchen warm, colourful and piled with all the good stuff. ❤️🚪
Today’s Bruschetta Chicken Flatbread starts with pesto-mayo, then gets loaded up with chicken, bocconcini, bruschetta and parmesan — melty, savoury, a little fresh and bright, and exactly the kind of lunch we love making around here. 🍅A gluten-free version is available!
The soup pot is full of our cozy Potato Soup 🥔, and the Caramel Bourbon Pumpkin Latte is still pouring as our Drink of the Week. 🎃
The kitchen is warm, the tables are waiting, and there’s always room to tuck in for a good lunch at The Red Door. ❤️

October has entered the chat… and apparently it brought croissants. 🍂🥐
Today’s special is Mini Croissant Sliders stuffed with ham, Swiss cheese, cranberries, mayo-mustard and Dijon — buttery, savoury, a little sweet, and proof that good things really do come in small packages. 😉
The soup pot is simmering with Tomato Veggie Soup 🍅🥣, and we’ve got a brand new Drink of the Week to introduce: our Caramel Bourbon Pumpkin Latte ☕️🎃

The pots are simmering, the rain is falling, and there’s a quieter rhythm to the day behind the Red Door. 🌧️🍂
Today’s B.L.T. Egg Salad Wrap feels just right — bacon, lettuce, tomato and egg with Asiago, Dijon, mayo and pesto. Simple and familiar, with just enough of a twist to make lunch a little more interesting. Gluten-free available.
There’s Red Pepper Soup warming on the stove, and our Butterscotch Tea Latte is pouring for Drink of the Week. ☕️✨ It’s only here until the end of the weekend, so catch it while it’s still on the board.

Hello, October 🎃🍂
October has officially arrived, and there’s a whole lot of fun (and a little mischief) brewing around Fergus & Elora this month. Fergus Ghost Walks are bringing a little local history and haunting to our evenings, and we’re especially looking forward to October 24th, when downtown Fergus gets wonderfully witchy with the Wytch Folk Market & Halloween Haunt Street Walk. 👻🔮
Until then, we’ll be getting into the spirit the best way we know how — with something warm, hearty & delicious coming out of the Red Door kitchen.

We’re back ❤️
We spent the weekend away at our annual trade show — something a little out of the ordinary for us, since we don’t often leave the store and café! It was a busy few days filled with new brands, new finds and plenty of ideas we’re excited to bring home.
So for our first lunch back, we’re keeping things simple, hearty and familiar while we settle back into our rhythm.
Today’s special is Quiche, with four flavours to choose from:
