Quality meets comfort! 👌 Here's a successful corrective shoeing case using St. Croix shoes with 2° degree pads on the hind feet. Before our work, this horse was landing toe-first on the hind feet - a common issue that can lead to improper movement and discomfort. Post-shoeing? Perfect heel-first landing, just as nature intended! 🎯

This is why proper hoof care and corrective shoeing make all the difference in your horse's movement and comfort. 🐎

Spring is here, Alberta horse owners! With changing ground conditions, your horse's hooves need extra attention. Here are 3 key signs to watch for:

✔️ Flaring at the hoof wall - This can indicate uneven weight distribution
✔️ Uneven wear patterns - Often shows up as ground conditions change
✔️ Moisture-related softening - Common during spring thaw

Don't wait until small issues become big problems! At Guest Farrier Services, we specialize in preventive care and use advanced tools like COBIT for precise assessments.
