Fun fact: skipping the avocado toast will not buy you a house. 🥑
(We checked. Twice.) 😁
But knowing exactly where your money's going every month? That actually moves the needle.
Happy Friday from the crew who eats the toast AND balances the books. Enjoy your weekend, however you spend it.

🛍️ July is Independent Retailer Month!

Every time you shop at a local, independently owned business, you're investing in your community.

At Clearly Financials, we're proud to support entrepreneurs and independent business owners every step of the way.

Let's celebrate the businesses that make our communities stronger—one local purchase at a time. 💙

Our office is closed on Fridays throughout July and August—and today happens to be International Self-Care Day, so the timing couldn't be better.

Take the day. We'll see you Monday. 💚

One thing this World Cup reinforced: tournaments aren't won by one great match or one star player. The teams that go the distance are the ones with depth — strength across the whole squad, so no single point of failure can take them out.

The same is true running a business. You can't (and shouldn't) do everything yourself. Having the right people in the right roles — including a good accountant handling the numbers — is what lets you focus on running the business instead of getting buried in it.

The tournament's over, but the season for your business doesn't stop.

No matter who wins today, we can all agree on one thing:

Extra time is stressful—whether it's in soccer or during tax season. 😅

Enjoy the final! ⚽🏆

RRSP or TFSA — where should extra business income go?

2026: RRSP room is 18% of your 2025 salary, up to $33,810. Dividends don't count.
TFSA is a flat $7,000, no matter how you're paid — unused room goes back to 2009 (up to $109,000).

Mostly dividends? TFSA is your main tool. Take a salary? RRSP can lower your tax bill now, taxed later in retirement.

Not sure which fits? Let's map it out.

Winning a client takes a strong pitch. Keeping them takes consistency and follow-through.
The same goes for your business finances — the habits that got you here aren't always the ones that keep things stable once you've arrived.
