Cochrane Fire Fighters Association - Ensuring the safety and well being of the residents and visitor
The Cochrane Fire Fighters’ Association (CFFA) was formed on September 23rd 2010 after a successful vote by the staff members to affiliate with the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF). We joined a group representing approximately 300,000 other fire fighters who are responsible for protecting 85% of the population of North America. There are over 3200 individually affiliated groups, of which Cochrane has been designated Local 4819. The CFFA is also affiliated with the Alberta Fire Fighters Association (AFFA) who represents a more focused perspective of fire fighting issues in Alberta. The AFFA is comprised of 17 Locals in the province and has approximately 3700 members.

🤠 A Shift is getting into the Stampede spirit! 🤠
While we can’t fight fires in our cowboy outfits, we can certainly look the part around the fire hall.
From cowboy hats to boots and a little western flair, A Shift is embracing one of the best traditions of the year while staying ready to answer the call whenever duty comes first.
Wishing everyone a safe and happy Stampede! Have fun, look after one another, and enjoy everything this great community has to offer.
