We’ve teamed up with Rosie Young Design Studio to bring sewing classes to The Little Back Room! Rosie has a full lineup of classes on the go back there: sewing, art, craft, and lots more. We’re adding our sewing classes to the mix.

First up: Machine Magic 101
Tuesday, October 6 at 6:30pm | $40

New machine? Inherited one? Scared of the one in your closet? This class gets you comfortable with it: threading, bobbins, tension, and what all those buttons actually do.

Update on the UFO pile: placemats are done. These started over 2 years ago as a sample for a class at Embellish that never actually happened. I finished one for display, then the other three sat there missing literally one step. The binding. That’s it. That’s all they needed.

Finally sat down and knocked it out. Took less time than I spent avoiding it, obviously. And now I have adorable Halloween placemats instead of guilt trips.

What’s the oldest UFO in your pile right now? Tell me the number of years. I want to feel better about myself as this is by far not my oldest.
