Christian Inheritance: Discovering God's Word Together

Calling all young adults ages 18–35! Join the SJR Community on Friday, October 16, for an evening of faith, reflection, and fellowship.

The evening begins with 7pm Mass at Ascension Catholic Parish, followed by a mini Lectio Divina and group discussion on the Scripture readings.

Come deepen your understanding of God's Word, share your reflections, and connect with other young Catholics. All young adults ages 18–35 are welcome!

Pastoral Care Ministry Training

The Diocese of Calgary invites individuals who feel called to support the sick, elderly, dying, homebound, and bereaved members of their community.

A New Chapter for Our Parish Youth!

Students in Grades 9–12 are invited to the Youth Ministry Launch Night at Ascension Catholic Parish on October 14!

Following the ECYD approach, our parish youth ministry will help teens grow in friendship with Christ and one another through prayer, faith formation, service, and fun.

Whether you were part of Metanoia or are joining for the first time, you are welcome. Bring a friend!

As fall begins, the Ascension Parish Vocation Ministry looks forward to reconnecting with our community of discerners for our next Priestly Vocational Seminar.

This gathering is an opportunity for young men who are discerning the priesthood, or simply exploring God's call in their lives, to come together for prayer, reflection, fellowship, and conversation.

A night dedicated to Adoration and dinner with our priests. Come reconnect with fellow discerners, ask questions, and take time to listen for God's call.

If you know someone discerning a vocation, please invite them to join us. All are welcome.

Nigerian Thanksgiving Mass

The Nigerian Community warmly invites all parishioners to join in a joyful celebration of faith and thanksgiving at the Nigerian Thanksgiving Mass on TOMORROW at 6pm, presided over by Fr. John.

Come celebrate together as we give thanks to God for His many blessings and share in the richness of our parish community.

Parishioners are also invited to bring non-perishable food items, which will be donated to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

Mark your calendars! The Catholic Women’s League Festive Market is returning to Ascension Catholic Parish on Saturday, November 14, from 9:30am–3:30pm.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to get a head start on your Christmas shopping while supporting local vendors and our CWL community.
