Nanas' Bakery
I'm Sandy and I'm a retired baker with 40 years experience. I sell at Markets throughout Cape Breton bringing back sweet memories in every bite.
Using the freshest of ingredients I love to bake using vintage recipes from my recipe book collection.
Wow, a very busy Baddeck Market yesterday. It was nice to talk to people from near and far including a couple from Australia who are in Canada visiting family.
Planning what I'll be making for the October 10th Market which is the Saturday of Thanksgiving and our last regular Market of the year.
I'm thinking of bringing a few apple and pumpkin pies but you can pre-order one if you want to make sure one is there for you. Pies will be $15. Just message me your name and phone number and I'll have one set aside.
Oh, a foot long eclair! 🥰

Meet the latest Cinnamon Bun, Cherry Streusel.
It does not have the traditional filling but has cherry filling with a touch of added cinnamon.
All packed up and ready to leave for the Baddeck Market . I'll be there until 1 so see you soon.

Okay folks, we're officially on for tomorrows Baddeck Market at the parking lot of the Bell Museum. In keeping with the season tomorrow I'll have some tasty loaves of pumpkin bread instead of banana bread. My cinnamon buns will be Original, Caramel Pecan, Biscoff, Apple Pie and Cherry Streusel. I'll also have the rest of your favorites so I'll see you tomorrow from 10 until 1.

Asking for help 🙏
Will you please take a moment to like and share?
We are farmers, not natural business people.
Sales and marketing feels uncomfortable.
And we are fiercely proud of the products we offer.
The Shoreline wool blanket is the closest we can get to replicating and sharing the essence of the farmland with the rest of Canada.
The colours of The Shoreline blanket represent different elements from the island; beach, sky, pastures, wildflowers, and Lake Ontario.
In this time of uncertainty and external trade stresses, we could really use a hand letting people know about ethical, renewable, Canadian wool in general and Topsy Farms' products specifically.
Thank you for being part of this adventure.
Thank you for helping us to keep the farmland as a farm. 🇨🇦
