We just wrapped up hosting environmental students from Shenandoah University here at A Piece of Ground 🌎🇧🇿

Over the past few days, they’ve been exploring and learning about water quality here in Belize, spending time in the community and experiencing life in Punta Gorda firsthand.

Cacao Fest weekend is two days out. PG Town is going to be full. We're not.

Two updates from A Piece of Ground this week.

The Honor Bar is going in. A small fridge on the compound, stocked with treats and drinks for guests anytime — local mahogany chocolate, sodas, cake from our kitchen, cold bottled water. Pay through your phone or drop cash in the box. Filtered water from the 5-gallon jug stays free, as always.

May has a quiet stretch. Two confirmed groups have the property in May (May 13–15, May 24–27). The window in between — and after — is open for individual travelers and small groups. Dorm pods $30/night. Private rooms $75/night.
