This morning the Taste Belize team is enjoying stew cohune cabbage tacos! Did you know the Belizean cohune palm has several incredible uses? The palm hearts are used in many Maya dishes. The cohune oil is extracted from the nut and used for cooking. And the palm leaves are used for crafts and roof thatching! 😲😍

After the distillery tour and rum tasting, head over to Ixcacao Chocolate for the Chocolate Queen's famous Maya buffet lunch.
